En nombre de la Junta Directiva de la Comité Venezolano de Hombro y Codo; y, de la Unidad de Patologías del Hombro UPH-CCPL, y el grupo de los ocho especialistas Venezolanos asistentes al 10 ICSS/2007; hacemos extensivo nuestras mas sinceras palabras de felicitación, por la prestancia de tan magno evento, calidad científica, calidad de expositores, organización del evento, calidad y ubicación de las casas comerciales y talleres por estas dictados, las actividades culturales y sociales, calidad humana, el hacernos sentirnos entre amigos, rompiendo así con las barreras de los idiomas. Uno de los mejores eventos a los cuales hemos asistidos y superando otros mundiales, siendo lo mas importante la mejor demostración que los Latinoamericanos si podemos. En la Unión esta la Fuerza y en ello la Victoria y ustedes lo han demostrado. Eventos como estos deben repetirse y dar pie a nuevas organizaciones además de ser tomados como ejemplo. Reiteramos nuestras muy sinceras felicitaciones y seguiremos en este el camino de nuestra especialidad en HOMBRO Y CODO.

Dear Sergio

Thank you for a great meeting and a very big thank you for looking after me when I suffered an attack of vertigo on the last day. My wife and I very much appreciated your help with my treatment, for sorting out our accommodation and the change in air bookings. We were impressed with you taking the trouble to phone and check on my progress later in the day. I am happy to report that we were able to fly out the next day and are safely back in New Zealand with no problems or lasting effects from the attack which has to be diagnosed as idiopathic!

Please convey my thanks to Osvandre for all that he did as well.

Dear Serge, Osvandré and Adalberto

This is just a short letter to say that I found the congress a very stimulating experience, with excellent papers and an extremely strong and representative panel of experts. I think everybody knows that the meticulous planning that went into organising this congress made it the great success that it was.

Aside from the academic program it must be said that the social program was also out of this world. Rosanna especially appreciated the special attention received from Marilise, Mônica and Livia, which made the visit very personal. The excellent food added a few kilos to our baggage weight!

Osvandre, it was nice to see you at the closed meeting in Dallas, and we were sad to have missed Marilise at this meeting.

We hope to see our Brazilian friends in South Africa in the foreseeable future.
